Prof. Taek Soo Kim from the Division of Laboratory Medicine at the Seoul National University Hospital (SNUH) and Prof. Wan Beom Park from the Division of Infectious Disease at the SNUH gave a poster presentation `Interim analysis: Randomized controlled trial for the effect of rapid phenotypic antimicrobial susceptibility testing on antimicrobial stewardship in hematologic patients with positive blood culture.’ The presentation of a RCT study outcome clearly demonstrated the clinical benefits of a direct and rapid antimicrobial susceptibility test (dRAST) system.
